Now's the time to unlock your future and step forward towards the career you want with a course at South Eastern Regional College (SERC).

If you're exploring your options after A-levels - SERC provides Higher Education qualifications including foundation degrees and degrees.

We run courses validated by Liverpool John Moores University, Open University, Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University. Apply directly to SERC and study close to home, with annual course fees much lower than university. You can also study for a Higher National Certificate or Diploma (HNC or HND) or follow a Higher Level Apprenticeship with SERC.

If you’re looking for the right path after GCSEs – SERC delivers Further Education courses across a wide variety of subjects including vocational training and essential skills. You can also pursue a traineeship or earn while you learn on an apprenticeship.

SERC has everything in place to unlock the door to a brilliant future:

- State-of-the-art facilities, including performance and rehearsal spaces; training kitchens; specialist workshops; gyms; laboratories; and beauty, hair and barbering salons.

- You can gain experience in SERC’s professional-standard TV and recording studios or on the college’s 3D printers, CNC machines and laser cutters, working in the training spa or feeding the crowd at events from the SERC food truck.

- With smaller classes, tutors can take a real interest in your progress.

- SERC is more hands-on and less “hands up”. You won’t be stuck in a classroom, but working on live projects, solving problems for real businesses – perhaps even starting your own!

- Work placements to develop skills and grow experience – including opportunities to study and work abroad with travel, accommodation and food provided free.

- You will be supported at every step. Whether it’s the college's award-winning careers advisory service, expert learning support and pastoral care (including dedicated support for young carers), or the student finance team, there is always someone there to help.

- SERC works with AccessAble to ensure that campuses are as inclusive and accessible as possible.

- Alongside your course, you can enjoy sport or join activities organised by the Students’ Union, and you can save money with the student discount card!
